The purpose of the RYM Church Internship Program is to affirm, train, and equip men and women in the legitimacy and merits of long-term ministry to youth and families. RYM will match candidates with a partnering local church to serve full time for two years reaching and equipping middle and high school students for Christ. While serving in the church, each intern will gain practical training and experience, a sound biblical and theological education, and learn a coherent philosophy of ministry. Also, RYM has partnered with Covenant Theological Seminary and Reformed Theological Seminary to offer reduced tuition rates for RYM interns. Summer conference locations around the U.S.
Each summer, RYM serves churches, middle school & high school students and youth leaders through their conferences around the country. The conferences are an amazing time of rich teaching, worship, fellowship, community and fun. With over 3,500 students and leaders attending throughout the summer, it is an incredible privilege to be a part of the staff coordinating these weeks, whether you are part of the crew managing logistics behind the scene or the person in the spotlight on stage. RYM Summer Interns are the hands and feet of the ministry, actively participating in many aspects, both seen and unseen of the ministry as a whole. They do many of the tasks that help the conference run smoothly, from prep & planning, to set-up prior to student arrivals, to taking care of students and leaders throughout the conference week all while growing in Christ and being a part of a family and community that will last a lifetime. Our youth group meets for Sunday school on Sunday mornings and for small discipleship groups on Wednesday evenings. We are seeking a man who desires to work toward equipping and assisting the MRPC youth council in helping further its mission and work and will assist in fostering a close relationship between the youth council and the parents of those involved in the youth group.
