Since that time, he has supervised the planting of four other churches and also coached church planters in several parts of the country, from Seattle, Washington to Brooklyn, New York, and as far away as Johannesburg, South Africa.
Dr. John Cox - Featured Speaker
Dr. John L. Cox is a clinical psychologist, and has been in practice at Live Oak Psychological Associates for 26 years. He received his B.A. in Psychology and English from Ole Miss, and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Reformed Theological Seminary. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology in Los Angeles. Dr. Cox’s practice is broad in focus, offering individual therapy for adults for a range of issues including depression, anxiety, addictions, OCD and bipolar disorders. He also offers relational and marital therapy and consultation regarding problems with children. Dr. Cox’s therapeutic focus is grounded in his Christian faith as he strives to integrate God’s way of leading us toward growth with the most competent professional psychological understanding derived from research and experience. Pastor - Restoration Presbyterian Church
Rev. Chris "Buck" Rogers is originally from McRae, GA. He attended Mercer University from 1993-1997 where he felt a call to the ministry through his involvement with Reformed University Fellowship. He has served as a youth minister, teacher, campus minister and pastor for almost 20 years. He graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity and was ordained in the PCA in 2006. Buck is married to the beautiful and fabulous Katelyn Harris Rogers and has three children: Eli, Rosie, and Sarabelle. Buck serves as Restoration's Pastor of Ministy Development and Pastor to Millenials.
Executive Director - RYM
Joey graduated from the University of Mississippi with a BA in Psychology where he also became heavily involved in the ministry of Reformed University Fellowship. After college he attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS and graduated with a Master of Divinity in 1992. After spending several summers ministering to youth at camps such as Alpine Camp for Boys in Mentone, AL and Twin Lakes Camp in Florence, MS, he became the director of youth and educational ministries at First Presbyterian Church in Yazoo City, MS where he ministered for nearly 5 years. In 1993 he accepted a call to become the assistant pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Crossville, TN with the responsibility of planting a PCA church in Cookeville, TN. Grace Presbyterian Mission was immediately formed and he remained in Cookeville as the organizing pastor and later senior pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church, PCA for 14 years. He then accepted a call in February of 2007 to become the Executive Director of Reformed Youth Movement (RYM). Joey has served on the TN Area Joint Presbytery Committee on Campus Ministry (RUF) since 1994 and as chairman of that committee since 1998. He has also served on several General Assembly RUF committees. Additionally, he has been a member of the board of directors for Reformed Youth Movement since 1990 and possesses a resolute zeal and passion to serve the church and extend the kingdom through the expanding mission of RYM. Joey is married to the beautiful Connie Cawthorn and together they have four children: Ashley Grace (Wilkinson), Joseph Wesley, Hannah Faith and Jennifer Cawthorn as well as a Hungarian Sheepdog, Maggie.
RUF Campus Minister - University of Georgia
Justin is a graduate of Samford University (’99) in Birmingham, Alabama and Elizabeth graduated from Meredith College (’98) in Raleigh, North Carolina. Elizabeth and Justin have three beautiful children, John Huss (he goes by both names), who was born June 9, 2004, Gardner, who was born September 13, 2006, and Eliza Jane (we like double names), who was born July 6, 2009. The Clements enjoy the finer things in life like college sports and enjoy cheering for the bulldogs. When Justin is not hanging out with students, he might be found jogging down Milledge Avenue or eating pizza at Transmetropolitan. He is also a self proclaimed expert in 1980’s music and movie trivia.
Minister to Youth - Trinity Presbyterian Church
Kurt was born in Charleston, South Carolina, but calls Tupelo, Mississippi, his hometown. He is married to Marty, also from Tupelo, and they have one son, Campbell. Kurt received a B.A. in business administration from Mississippi State University, and his M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary.
Training & Church Intern Coordinator - RYM
Michael, a native of Shreveport, LA, attended college at Ole Miss in Oxford, MS. God was gracious and called Michael to faith in Christ through the Reformed University Fellowship ministry as a freshman at Ole Miss. After graduation, he spent a year of study in Salzburg, Austria. Michael then attended Covenant Theological Seminary, where he received a Master of Divinity. Michael's relationship with RYM begin the summer of 2000 at the beloved Laguna Beach Christian Retreat Center. Since that time, he has taken groups from the likes of Clemson Presbyterian Church, Kirk of the Hills and Trinity Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville, VA to many RYM summer conferences. Michael played a large role in helping start the 2015 High School Mid-Atlantic conference. Michael has also been a big proponent for RYM's Youth Leader Training (YLT) since its beginnings. The call to minister full-time with RYM as the Training & Church Intern Coordinator comes as no surprise given his past experiences and passions in caring for His Church and for the next generations. Michael and his wife, Kirby, have three children: McKenzie, Carter & John Thomas.
Associate Pastor to Students - Christ Presbyterian Church
JonPaul came to Christ Pres as Pastor to Students in February of 2014, having previously interned at Grace Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg, SC. JonPaul grew up in Spartanburg. He is married to Carrie, and they have three children—Lucy, Judah, and Luke. He enjoys being with people, reading, and shopping for groceries. In his work at Christ Pres, JonPaul has a passion for seeing all of Scripture taught and applied to the lives of the students at Christ Pres. He loves that Christ Pres is a place where he and his family can be known and loved because of the power of the Gospel.

RTS Jackson alumnus John Perritt (MDIV '09) has written a new book, Your Days Are Numbered. The book, endorsed by Dr. Derek Thomas and Dr. Sean Lucas, takes a biblical look at the way in which we spend our time in order to cultivate better stewardship of the time God gives each of us. John is Youth Director at Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church in Ridgeland, MS and has served in youth ministry for over a decade. He and his wife Ashleigh have four children.

Senior High Assistant Director - Covenant Presbyterian Church
Mary Beth was born and raised in North Carolina to a family with a football-coaching dad, math-teaching mom and three younger siblings to cause trouble with. Although truly “asking Jesus into her heart” as a little girl, the gospel of God’s grace became compellingly beautiful to her in a deeper way at Davidson College through the ministry of RUF (Reformed University Fellowship). After graduating, she spent two formative years as an RUF Intern at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Covenant Seminary in St. Louis came next, completing her Masters of Divinity degree in May 2014. Since then, Mary Beth has been truly delighted to share not only in the gospel, but in life with the high school students at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Nashville, TN. Pretty paper, yard games, wandering walks and finding thrift store treasures are among the things that make her heart sing.

Matthew loves sharing the redemptive work of God with others. He also loves all things related to the outdoors. As a result, Matthew was actively involved in Christian camp ministry both during and after college. Following his work in camp ministry, Matthew attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC and graduated in 2012. Matthew and his wonderful wife, Rachel, met in seminary. In April 2012, Matthew accepted the call to become the Assistant Pastor of Youth and Families.

Mark Steimer is the Pastor to Students and Director of Student Ministries. He is married to Julie and they have 6 amazing children. Julianna (married), Jacob, Elizabeth, Lydia, Chala and Samuel. He has been a youth pastor for more than 25 years. Mark loves walking with students, parents, and volunteer leaders. He has been at Cedar Spring for 11 years as the middle school pastor and has recently moved to be the director of student ministries. Before coming to Cedar Springs, he was the assistant pastor at Christ Presbyterian Church in Greenville, NC and had graduated from Covenant Seminary.

Bo is pastor, husband, father, musician, and cyclist. He enjoys learning God's Word, talking with people about faith in Christ, and working in Jesus' church. He is a try-hard rock-and-roller and wanna-be bike racer. He and his wife Katie welcomed their first son, Fraser, in July of 2016.
